Тур де Франс 2013 является 100-м Тур де Франс в истории[2]. Тур стартовал на Корсике в городе Порто-Веккио, остров принял три первых этапа[3][4]. Корсика является единственным европейским регионом Франции, где ещё ни разу не проходил Тур де Франс, и организаторы решили объединить столетие Тура и его появление на Корсике.

Участники[править | править код]

Из-за расширения Про-тура до 19 команд организаторы приняли решение выдать только 3 приглашения континентальным командам, выбрав местные французские команды. Всего на старт вышли 198 гонщиков, которые представляли 22 команды и 25 стран.

Маршрут[править | править код]

Маршрут[5] сотого тура был представлен 24 октября 2012 года[6]. Он впервые за 10 лет полностью пройдет на территории Франции и захватит почти все её регионы. Впервые в истории Гранд Тура старт будет дан на острове Корсика, в городе Порто-Веккьо. Там же пройдет три этапа. После чего гонщики отправятся в Ниццу, где пройдет командная разделка, протяженностью 25 км[7]. Последний этап было решено провести по вечернему Парижу при искусственном освещении.
