Griptonite Games — американская компания-разработчик видеоигр исключительно для портативных консолей. Офис компании расположен в Вашингтоне в США. Griptonite Games сначала являлась дочерней студией Amaze Entertainment, а после того как Foundation 9 Entertainment приобрела Amaze Entertainment Griptonite Games стала дочерней студией Foundation 9 Entertainment.

История компании

В начале 1994 года Стив Эттингер основал студию Seattle division. А в 1999 году студия Seattle division была приобретена и стала дочерней компанией студии Amaze Entertainment. После этого Seattle division была переименована в Griptonite Games и стала заниматься разработкой игр для портативной игровой приставки Game Boy Color, а затем для Game Boy Advance и Nintendo DS. В 2005 году компания Griptonite Games перестала разрабатывать игры под собственной маркой и начала разрабатывать под маркой Amaze Entertainment. В 2007 году компания Foundation 9 Entertainment приобрела Amaze Entertainment. А в 2008 году торговый знак Griptonite был восстановлен. Хотя этот знак не использовался публично с 2005 года студия и сейчас известна как Griptonite Games в игровой индустрии. В настоящее время глава студии — J.C. Connors.
