Chimarra (лат.) — род ручейников семейства Philopotamidae из подотряда Annulipalpia. Более 950 видов[1].
Распространение
[править | править код]Повсеместно. Род распространен на всех основных континентах, кроме Антарктиды, и делится на четыре подрода, три из которых эндемичны для Нового Света. Четвертый и номинальный подрод Chimarra встречается по всему Старому Свету, включая Африку, Азию и Австралийский регион, включая многие острова Тихого океана, а также имеет значительную радиацию в Новом Свете как в Северной, так и в Южной Америке, за исключением чилийского субрегиона. Наибольшее видовое разнообразие от мечено в Неотропике (две трети видов), Юго-Восточной Азии и Австралии. Типовой вид Chimarra marginata (Linnaeus) — единственный вид рода, широко распространенный в Европе, встречается также в Северной Африке[1][2][3][4][5][6].
Описание
[править | править код]Ручейники средних и мелких размеров, как правило менее 1 см. Размах крыльев представителей подрода Chimarrita от 2 до 7 мм, у Curgia — от 4 до 10 мм[1][7][8]. Личинка Chimarra распознается по наличию глубокой и асимметричной клипеальной вырезки. Цвет взрослых особей варьируется от чёрного и темно-коричневого до жёлтого и темно-красного. Средняя длина тела обычно составляет 3-8 мм, включая крылья. Общий диагноз имаго Chimarra — наличие формулы шпор 1, 4, 4; вторая анальная жилка задних крыльев сливается с первой анальной жилкой, образуя замкнутую ячейку[9].
Встречаются в разнообразных условиях и различных типах проточных пресных водоёмов, вплоть до водопадов. Личинки строят и живут в продолговатых мешкообразных фильтрующих сетях с очень мелкими ячейками, прикрепленных к нижней стороне камней на дне мелководных водоёмов[7].

Систематика
[править | править код]Крупнейший род ручейников, включающий чуть менее 6 % разнообразия всего отряда. Включён в подсемейство Chimarrinae. Включает более 950 видов. Выделяют четыре подрода. Подтверждение общей монофилии подродов, включая номинальный подрод, было обеспечено двумя независимыми молекулярными анализами[1][8][10][11].
Биогеографический анализ показывает происхождение рода в Неотропическом регионе и последующую быструю иррадиацию с распространением в Ориентальную, Палеарктическую и Австралазийскую области и, во вторую очередь, в Неарктическую область. Афротропический регион был колонизирован в результате нескольких независимых событий. Молекулярное датирование и калибровка по четырём ископаемым видам показывает, что роду Chimarra около 138 миллионов лет, и что иррадиация из Неотропического региона произошло примерно 124 миллиона лет назад[9]. Ископаемые виды из доминиканского янтаря (†C. dommeli , Wichard, 1983, †C. palaedominicana Wichard, 1983, †C. resinae Wichard, 1983, †C. weitschati Wichard, 1983) имеют возраст 16-20 млн лет[12].
